Shipping PSUs allowed to place orders through nomination route
PUBLIC sector undertakings/units attached to the Department of Shipping have been allowed to place orders for ships, dredgers, tugs, boats and so on with domestic public sector shipyards on nomination basis without resorting to the competitive bidding ro ute.

EXPORTS by air from India are gradually becoming costlier as the air cargo carriers, mostly foreign airlines, have either hiked rates or are planning to do so on one pretext or the other.
