Auto sector: The hi-tech edge
THE recent Auto Expo in New Delhi offered a glimpse of the industrial transformation that has overtaken the automobile of today. The range of new concept cars and the wide array of other vehicles on display reflected the hi-tech edge the automotive indus try has achieved. The most important concerns for the industry are environment and fuel conservation; its most pressing challenge is to produce economical, energy-efficient vehicles.
